This salad is one powerhouse if you ask me. I am a huge fan of salads because you can create them in so many ways! Contrary to popular belief, salads do NOT have to be boring. They are so easy to make and super healthy. This salad is packed with protein, fruit, and healthy fats.
You might be asking yourself, what is so special about Banza pasta? Well, let me tell you. It is made from chickpeas. Chickpeas are a superfood packed with protein, and has four times the fiber, and half the net carbs in comparison to regular pasta. Not to mention it is gluten free, vegan, and certified non-GMO.
On Banza’s website, you can check to see if your local stores carry it. I have attached a link on the bottom where you can buy it directly from Amazon. I HIGHLY recommend trying this pasta. I had my entire family try it and they all said it tasted like regular pasta… even my brother and he is a picky eater.
This is the first recipe in a series of three on Balance Sweat & Cheers for Banza pasta.

Banza Strawberry Almond Vinaigrette Salad Recipe:
- Banza Pasta (any kind works)
- Sliced Almonds
- Tyson Grilled & Ready Chicken Breast Strips
- Maple Grove Farms of Vermont Sugar Free Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing (mouth full of a title, I know)
All you need to do is make the pasta, microwave the chicken breast strips (I microwave them for roughly two minutes, or you can keep them cold), combine all the ingredients into a bowl… AND ENJOY!
I made the entire box of pasta and placed what I didn’t use in the fridge so I can use the rest to make lunch for the whole week. This is such an easy meal to prep and take to work or school for the week.
