It has almost been a week since 2019 started… what a great time to crush a workout am I right? In all honesty, this workout was the death of me. As I shared in What Running Means To ME, hills are not my thing so this HIIT workout hit me like a bag of bricks. The cardio in this workout is geared towards increasing your incline (aka hills) followed by active recovery.
HIIT workouts, or high intensity interval training workouts, are an effective way to build endurance, maximize your calories burned, and are very challenging. I love to incorporate a variety of different HIIT workouts into my schedule because it keeps things fresh and keeps me excited to workout.

Balance Sweat & Cheers: FIT FOR LIFE WORKOUT
All you need to complete this workout is a treadmill. This workout is in a similar workout to the first workout in SWEAT SOIREE. Complete the cardio section once and move to the strength circuit. Repeat the strength circuit twice. Then repeat the whole workout again. After you have finished the cardio and strength circuit, move to the finisher and complete it twice.
You can complete the cardio section either walking or running. I ran at a constant speed of 7.5 and changed my incline accordingly.
