I have recently been introduced to Perfect Bars and lemme tell ya, they’re delicious. Perfect bars are a clean and healthy snack LOADED with protein and superfoods. They’re Non-GMO, gluten free, made with whole food protein (which means they never rely on whey or soy), packed with 20 organic superfoods like kale, spinach, and lemon, and low on the glycemic index.
Now that the rant is over, Perfect bars use honey and refrigeration as natural preservation to maintain the cookie-dough texture and to maintain taste. I have to be honest, I am not a fan of most protein bars because I cannot stand the taste and chalky texture but these are FAR from chalky.
A couple of tips that I have for you:
- Keep them refrigerated to maintain freshness
- They will stay fresh for up to 20 days.
- I usually have half a bar and wrap the other half up for another snack. (They also have kid size bars, which are perfectly portioned for a snack size.)
It is important to find clean and healthy foods that are tasty and easy to take on the go. You can find Perfect Bars at Whole Foods, Target, Kroger, Publix, and more. They also sell them online and on Amazon. On their website (perfectbar.com), they have a spot on the bottom of their website that you can enter your zip code and find nearest grocery stores that sell them.
There is an Amazon links at the bottom where you can directly buy my favorite kind (Chocolate Walnut Brownie) or an assorted pack.
They sell a variety of kinds such as Peanut Butter, Almond Butter, Mocha Chip, Dark Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter, Fruit and Nut, and many more. I love the Chocolate Walnut Brownie because it is dairy-free.
IMPORTANT: THEY ARE FOUND NEXT TO FRESH PRODUCE AND KOMBUCHAS OR IN THE DAIRY SECTION NEXT TO YOGURT.
